PRAGATI Platform
ICT-based multi-modal platform for Pro-Active Governance and Timely Implementation, involving the Prime Minister, Union Secretaries, and Chief Secretaries of States.
Objective
To address common man's grievances and monitor important programs/projects. It uniquely combines three technologies: Digital data management, video-conferencing, and geo-spatial technology.
Three-Tier Structure
1. Prime Minister (Chair). 2. Union Government Secretaries. 3. Chief Secretaries of States. This promotes Cooperative Federalism.
Schedule
Meetings are held once every month, traditionally on the Fourth Wednesday at 3.30 PM (Project monitoring day).
Key Features
It is a robust system for bringing e-transparency and e-accountability with real-time presence and exchange among key stakeholders.
Impact
As of the 50th meeting, it has reviewed projects worth over ₹85 lakh crore and resolved thousands of grievances.
