What is the DLTT Plan?

DLTT is a data-driven strategy to transform India's textile landscape by identifying and supporting districts based on their current strengths and future potential. It categorizes districts into two main groups for tailored interventions.

Key Features

• Districts Covered: 100 Champion Districts (Scale & Sophistication) and 100 Aspirational Districts (Foundation & Formalization).
• Champion Districts: focus on Mega Common Facility Centres (CFCs), Industry 4.0 integration, and direct export linkages.
• Aspirational Districts: focus on raw material banks, basic certifications, and micro-enterprises.
• Tex-RAMPS Scheme: A central sector scheme providing ₹12 lakh/year per state and ₹1 lakh/year per district to strengthen statistical data for policy-making.
• Purvodaya Focus: Prioritizing the East and Northeast for tribal development, connectivity, and Geographical Indication (GI) tagging.
